Introducing Gerthill Allied Health School
Gerthill Allied Health School is a private vocational institute established in 2010 in the city of Gardena California, county of Los Angeles. Our school offers various educational programs for young adults aspiring to achieve their dreams of becoming professional healthcare workers. We ensure that our curriculum is inclusive of variety of ways of attaining our goals of providing good quality education, and strategies of meeting our adult students’ learning needs.
Our Nursing Programs are taught by highly qualified faculty and staff who are dedicated to teaching and guiding students as they acquire additional knowledge to become successful in their careers. Modules will cover theory and application of concepts in:
- Emergency Procedures
- Safety and Hazard Prevention
- Documentation / Patient Care History (charting and observation)
- Hospice Care (Caring for the terminally ill)
- Rehabilitative/Restorative Care
We focus on training the students to become experts on their areas of practice in hospitals, acute and sub-acute settings, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Mental Health, Hospice care facilities and many other healthcare settings.
We are an institution that provides comprehensive mentoring programs and hands-on learning. We also make available to students one-on-one interaction with our teaching staff to enhance learning to pass their licensure or certification examination on first attempt. We do our best to guide students individually if needed so that they can achieve their fullest potential as healthcare professionals.
Gerthill Allied Health School’s principal task is to provide our students with necessary tools and technical training to prepare them to pursue professional nursing or any other health services. We use the curriculum that provide positive and advanced learning structure that fosters the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills.
We ensure that upon completion of the program, our students will be able to collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to demonstrate professional knowledge, leadership skill, Communication skills and good judgment to function in any healthcare setting.
Being able to function as part of an operational unit in a healthcare setting is critical in successful patient care. Without a team effort, patient care can deteriorate which is why we make it a significant part of our working mission to provide practice opportunities for our students in integrative functions. They must learn to work on their own as well as part of a staff.
